Local, independent estate agency, The Property Centre, was established in Tuffley in 1997 with a team of just four. Since then, the Company has grown year on year and now employs over 120 staff, with 9 offices across Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.
Supporting our local communities and the charities that serve them is important to us, and so to celebrate our 20th year in 2017 we decided to do 20 things to support local charities. One such event was the Paris Half-Marathon in March, when Founding Partner, Steve Jones, Sales Director, Simon Trippett, and Marketing Manager, Wendy Worger, braved rain, wind and even hail around the 13.1 mile route. They not only finished despite the weather, but also managed to raise over £1,100 for The Spring Centre – the Quedgeley-based charity which helps families with special needs children in Gloucestershire.

Seeing The Spring Centre’s inspirational work up close had a profound effect on The Property Centre’s marathon runners, so when we celebrated our 20th Anniversary in July, we opted to donate our anniversary cake to the children at The Spring Centre.

Needless to say, it was well received and the children were very excited to see Sales Director, Simon Trippett, and Quedgeley Branch Manager, James Ellson arrive at the door with the sweet treat for them to enjoy.
