As pumpkin spice fills the air and temperatures drop, we head into the middle of Autumn and towards October half term.
So, what events and activities are happening across Gloucestershire and Worcester this month?
Cheltenham Literature Festival
Having opened last Friday and running until Sunday 11th October, there are events for every taste. Make sure you check out the free on-demand viewings for children too. It might not be the usual literature festival, but it still promises to be a great celebration of literature.

The Walk at Over Farm
Even though the annual Frightmare event isn't happening this year, Over Farm promises to give us a fright this October. In accordance with COIVD guidelines, Over Farm is hosting THE WALK every weekend from the 3rd till the 31st October.
THE WALK will guide horror-lovers through 9 different locations, all Halloween themed, including a UV Toxic wasteland and a Witch's Hovel. THE WALK is a must-see event!
Cobwebs and Ghouls at Cattle Country
As Halloween approaches, Cattle Country Adventure Farm Park gets into the spooky mood with autumnal and Halloween themed activities every weekend in October and throughout the October half term.
Visit the new pumpkin patch field, have a go at pumpkin carving and decorating, toast some marshmallows and explore the Scarecrow trail. There’s spooky face painting too!
Make magic happen at Hartlebury Castle
The Witch and Wizard School is opening up at Hartlebury Castle between the 27th -30th October with lots of fun, magical-themed activities, including wand making, spell casting and potion mixing classes.
You can also enjoy some pumpkin carving sessions taking place between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm.
